Global & Environmental Studies | Faculty Interest Group at Kingsborough
Our meeting dates, times and location are on the Resources tab accessed by clicking above. Please stop by KCTL for the common reading, Against the Grain by James Scott, and email Prof. Leggett with any questions at Jason.firstname.lastname@example.org or email@example.com
This FIG, facilitated by Jason Leggett (History, Philosophy, Political Science, Criminal Justice), is designed for individuals who are interested in taking a global approach to designing curricula, as well those interested in exploring current interdisciplinary research in the field. Some examples of global issues involve climate change, nationalism, human rights, international law and politics, comparative cultural studies, and migration. While faculty teaching courses in the Liberal Arts Global and Environmental Studies concentration may find this FIG of particular interest, we welcome all faculty and staff who are interested in learning more about global or international studies. For more information or to join, please contact Jason at firstname.lastname@example.org and please visit our page on the CUNY Academic Commons.
